This is the busiest week of the year for Pellet Envy. We're catering and cooking back to back contests at the world's largest barbecue contest right here in Kansas City, the American Royal. Many of our friends from all over the country will be here. I love and hate this weekend all at the same time.
I'll get back to work on this blog next week. I wrote that post I promised in an earlier edition, but it just isn't what I want to say. I'll use my impressive wordsmithing powers to sculpt it into a masterpiece next week . . . . tongue in cheek, of course. Until then, thank you all for reading along. I have been following your blog recently checking up on your 2010 cooking classes.
Reading your comments on the Royal...my team, Chain Gang BBQ signed up to do the Royal in June or July. I've been BBQing for over 20 years and finally got to a point where I could compete in the open.
But, the transfer case on my pick-up went south on me yesterday. And since my truck pulls our 19' trailer with fridge, prep areas, sinks and storage, we are now out. To say it makes me sick is an under statement.
I know you'll do good. You're in a great spot for TOY honors, hope you guys win it all!
