Blues Hog featured on Good Morning America

Bill Arnold, creator of Blues Hog Barbecue Sauces, was featured on Good Morning America today. GMA filmed Bill and his three daughters at the Smoke on the River competition in Quincy, Illinois, tying the interview to the presidential campaign. For those that don't know, Bill's engineering career ended when his company downsized. He concluded that it was a sign and jumped head first into the barbecue sauce and rub business, where he's been ever since. "Jumped" is an extremely appropriate term considering the leap of faith he took, especially considering he is a single parent to his young children. Bill continues to be tested, recently discovering and battling a very serious illness. But Bill Arnold is a fighter. Through all of the highs and lows, he's never been down or negative about his situation or condition. For that I commend him. I often wish I could be more like him.

It's no secret we've used Blues Hog products exclusively in competition since the beginning. With great products from a great guy, who wouldn't? Congratulations to Bill Arnold and the Blues Hog Barbecue Company on some great press this morning. Bill's going to need to stock up on boxes and packing tape to ship all of those orders! Awesome, simply awesome. It could not have come at a better time.
