OS vs. HT class in Great Bend, Kansas in February

With a little arm twisting, a whole lot of back patting, not to mention the most votes for a 2009 event so far on the poll, Old School versus High Tech will be rolling into Great Bend, Kansas to host a competition cooking class on Friday, February 6th, 2009. The two day event will take place on the fairgrounds just east of town, site of the award winning Barton County Fair. This site is also host to the WinterQ, which will be in it's second year and the Central Kansas BBQ Cook-off and Chest to Chest Brisket Invitational held there in July each year.

Kent Romine is the mastermind behind the events and worked us over pretty good, dishing out tons of flattery to convince OSvsHT to schedule the event. If you've never experienced one of Kent's events or the mental pressure he can apply, let me tell you, both are awesome in their own way. We're excited to be headed to central Kansas for this class. The date is one week before this year's WinterQ and even in the early stages, is already shaping up to be an absolute blast. Details and applications will be available at the Pellet Envy website soon. For questions, please contact me (Rod) at rod@pelletenvy.com or (816) 225-1155.
